Broadway Bridges Albuquerque, a new initiative from The Broadway League and Popejoy Hall, aims to expand access to Broadway touring performances for high school students in Albuquerque. Building on the success of its New York City counterpart, Broadway Bridges, this program provides discounted tickets to Equity touring Broadway productions at Popejoy Hall.

By collaborating with touring productions, Popejoy Hall offers affordable ticket access to public high schools in the Albuquerque, making field trips to Broadway a reality. This initiative enriches students’ arts education, promotes cultural equity and cultivates a diverse future audience for live theatre.

How the Program Works

Select Broadway in New Mexico performances will be available each year with a limited number of tickets allotted to the program. APS high school teachers may enter a lottery for their class to attend Broadway show. The lottery process opens for a limited time each year. Once the lottery closes, winners are selected and notified on how to complete their ticket purchase. Transportation to and from the performance must be provided by the selected school.
