The Chieftains have consistently entertained people worldwide for over 40 years, carrying their music and their culture to nearly every corner of the globe. Comprised of Kevin Conneff (bodhrán, vocals) Seán Keane (fiddle), Matt Molloy (flute) and Paddy Moloney (uillean pipes), the quartet plays concert halls and fairs, palaces and pubs with an exuberance for the music that never wanes. This year, their concert celebrates the connection between Irish and Scottish music as singer/actress Alyth McCormack joins The Chieftains on stage. Pianist and singer Brian Mcalpine and guitarist and fiddler Jonny Hardie add their musical gifts as well. Of course there are other singers and dancers to fill the stage. The Chieftains are happiest when they share their music with as many people as possible.
